One of the most effective tools for dealing with marital challenges is prayer. With prayer, empowered godly wives are able to take their concerns to the Lord, activate their faith, and experience the transformation in their marriage.
The previous three posts looked at dealing with marital challenges like a dove or a crow and some of the lessons that we may learn from these two birds that were on Noah’s ark. In this post, I’ll share a prayer about dealing with marital challenges.
Prayer About Dealing With Marital Challenges
Mighty God,
I thank you for the many lessons that we may learn from the crow and dove mentioned in the story of Noah’s Ark. I thank you for the way you speak to me through nature and object lessons. I thank you for my marriage and for your divine protection and guidance.
Heavenly Father, ever so often we encounter challenges and face obstacles. We know that we can endure anything with your help. Lord, remind me to be like the dove when I address issues in my marriage. Remind me that running away, hiding, and giving up too quickly will not benefit my union.
Help me to understand that giving up too quickly is not the best option. Help me to consider lasting solutions instead of avoidance. Help me to fight for my marriage instead of turning my thoughts and plans elsewhere.
God of Noah, anoint me anew today. Give me the persistence and dedication needed to keep working at marital challenges until transformation takes place. Help me to be forgiving to my husband, to always extend mercy to him, and to be optimistic as we work through things together.
Bless me with the attitude of the dove as I pledge to be persistent and resilient. Help me to keep going until there is evidence of change and remind me to view marriage as an ark of safety. May I continually return to You like the dove that kept returning to Noah. Bless my marriage and assist us to deal with our challenges like the dove. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
Final Thought
I hope that this prayer will be an effective tool that helps you to deal with marital challenges as an empowered godly wife. As you allow the Lord to guide you and your spouse through the difficult moments in your marriage, continue to be patient, joyful, and hopeful.
