Empowering Godly Wives New Beginnings Embracing Your Challenges While Looking Forward

The first verse in the Bible mentions the word ‘beginning.’ The gospel of John also starts with the phrase ‘in the beginning.’ Think about it; many things happened before the Gospel of John was written. As a matter of fact, many things happened before the creation story that is told in Genesis chapter one.

What is the point that I’m making?

We can think about the challenges, twists, and turns in our lives and embrace them, knowing that when they end, we will also experience new beginnings.

Embracing Challenges While Looking Forward to New Beginnings

Let’s take a look at the fall of Satan and see how we can embrace our challenges while looking forward to new beginnings.

Before the creation story in Genesis, something really terrible happened. Satan and one-third of the angels were thrown out of heaven.

Heaven was a beautiful place with no trace of sin until pride took over Lucifer. God didn’t offend or provoke Satan in any way but ended up being accused of being unfair.

God wasn’t unfair; it was Satan who became jealous and wanted to be like Him.

Sadly, you or someone you know may have experienced a similar situation. You realize that you are in the middle of a conflict that someone else started based on a lie or other evil intentions.

You may realize that there is a smear campaign to ruin your character. You may notice that friends, associates, or even family members start to take sides and go against you.

Struggles like these are usually intense, but they never last forever. The end of a struggle means the beginning of something new. It’s also great knowing that the Lord will vindicate and protect you.

No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord. (Isaiah 54:17 NIV)

Challenges and Troubles Will Not Last Forever

The fact that whatever you are going through now won’t last forever means that your new beginning is on its way.

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. (2 Corinthians 4:17 NIV)

After the fall of Lucifer and his angels, order was restored, and God went on to create heaven and the earth. And guess what? God declared, ‘It was good.’

The Lord has promised you a future of hope, and that’s one extra reason why you should not give up on the new beginnings that are ahead of you.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)

Will you give up while going through your challenges? Or will you embrace them as you look forward towards new beginnings?

Prayer

Prayer About New Beginnings and Embracing Your Challenges

Heavenly Father,

I thank You for being the amazing God that You are. Thank You for promising to take me through my challenges and protecting me from those who come against me. I declare and decree that no weapon formed against me will prosper. I stand firm, knowing that the battles I fight now will not last forever because this too shall pass.

Thank you for planning a future of hope for me. I boldly claim your promise in Jeremiah 29:11. You know the thoughts that you think towards me. Thoughts of good and not of evil, thoughts to give me an expected end. Help me to cling to You as I embrace my challenges and anticipate new beginnings in my life. Thank You for your countless blessings in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
