Today’s verse: Psalms 36:9

For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

Fountains are architectural features that represents beauty and functionality.

Fountains have evolved throughout the centuries from a simple source of water or an architectural display to breathtaking shows that attract spectators.

There might be very little comparison between an ancient Greek fountain connected to an aqueduct and the Bellagio fountain but one feature remains-water.

Water was used in ancient Greece for drinking and it is still needed for that purpose today.

Drinking water helps to flush waste, replenish tissues and hydrate the body. It is the ultimate solution for thirst.

David acknowledged God as the fountain of life. If you claim God as your fountain of life you will never thirst again. John 6:35 states

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

God is so much more than a Greek fountain connected to an aqueduct. He is living water. Drink freely from the fountain of life and everlasting life will be yours.

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (John 4:14)

God is way more spectacular than any modern fountain display you’ll ever lay your eyes on. You will never need to book a tour or wait special hours. He is never further than a prayer away. The phenomenal blessings He has in store for you are absolutely breathtaking.

It is said that the Bellagio fountain display may go as high as 460 feet in the air. God’s blessings and favour in your life will outdo the Bellagio fountain display on any day.

Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. (Psalms 36:5)

Acknowledge Him as your fountain of life, claim the blessings He has in store for you and you will never thirst again.
