Today’s verse: Psalm 32:7

Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.

The hiding place for polar bears is usually refered to as a den. A den may be considered as a space for: hibernation, keeping cool during the hot summer months, keeping warm during the winter and maternity purposes.

During winter when the temperature is below freezing point a polar bear is kept warm thanks to the body heat expelled and the insulating qualities of snow.

During summer months ‘Churchill polar bears‘ make dens in the snow and use them as retreats to cool down and escape the heat of summer.

For polar bears a den is a hiding place that provides: protection from the elements, comfort and a home for mamma bear and her little ones.

Wives, similarly to polar bears need protection, a place of comfort and a space for her family. While a home may be an obvious solution that provides all of these things it may not be an emotional, psychological and spiritual hiding place.

Are you looking for comfort? Do you wish to be more insulated by His word? Would you like to fortify your protection from financial stress and spiritual lethargy?

God is the hiding place that will meet and exceed your emotional, psychological and spiritual needs.

When the challenges of life become like the heat of summer make Him your hiding place. “…thou shalt preserve me from trouble”

When grief, heartache and other disappointments try to freeze you, make God your hiding place. He will insulate you with His love and give you the strength to endure. “thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance”.

David made God his hiding place and received preservation and deliverance.
