Today’s chapter: Psalm 16
Today’s verse: Psalm 16:11
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
In early nineteen hundred many individuals considered and worked on formalizing training for dogs to become guides for visually impaired individuals.
Gerhard Stalling a German doctor and Dorothy Harrison Eustis a wealthy American may be considered two of the early pioneers who formally trained guide dogs.
Both Stalling and Eustis thought that dogs could be trained to make the lives of visually impaired individuals better. Guide dogs or “the seeing eye” were canine companions trained to show the path.
Visually impaired or not each person needs a companion who will show them the path. This companion is not your: best friend, mentor, spouse, life coach or a subject matter expert.
This companion is He who have carved out the path for your life before you were even born. In Psalm 16:11 David declared, “Thou wilt shew me the path of life”.
David was confident that once he depended on God, the path of life will be shown to him. Claim with confidence the path that God has carved out for you.
Visually impaired individuals may not be able to see where they are going but; they are confident that their guide dog will lead them on the path that will get them there safely.
You may be wondering what your calling is. You may be uncertain where destiny will take you. You may not have figured out what your next step will be or where it will lead you.
Be confident!
Take God as your seeing eye. Trust, knowing He will show you the path of life.
The path for your life will bring fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore.
